Apple makes a surprising announcement this Thursday announcing a new MacBook Pro hardware update.
With this new version features the 8th generation Intel Core processors and a huge boost when it comes to storage capacity. Also, there is an improved third-generation keyboard for quieter typing than before, whatever that means is still to be seen.
The 15-inch has an option for the six-core CPU Intel Core i9 that has a speed of up to 2,9 GHz and Turbo Boost up to 4,8 GHz so plenty of power for rendering 4k movies or other types of CPU heavy work.
Also the option for 32GB DDR4-Memory and up to staggering 4TB SSD-Lagring. For graphics, the 15-inch MacBook is equipped with Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory.
Interestingly both new MacBook features the new Apple T2 chip, the T2 is used for controlling the Mac Pro’s stereo speakers, internal microphones, and dual cooling fans, “Hey Siri” all by itself.
It seems they are focusing more on the pro’s using it for heavy workloads again, it’s after all called MacBook – Pro.
